Third mobile library opens in Ouled Salah

The association opened its third mobile library on Saturday morning in the commune of Ouled Salah, attended by local authorities and parent-teacher associations.

Seven villages every week

The truck will serve seven villages on a fixed weekly schedule, carrying two thousand titles in Arabic, French and Amazigh, plus a digital corner with ten tablets.

When the book cannot reach the child, it is up to us to travel the distance.

More than lending

The programme goes beyond lending: two facilitators run read-aloud and creative-writing workshops for six- to fourteen-year-olds, two sessions at every stop.

The project is part of the association’s education programme, which has already reached more than three thousand pupils.
