Ten years of collecting, archiving and digitising oral testimonies, now open to researchers.
The programme began in 2015 from a simple observation: the people who carry memory are passing away, and the crafts go with them.
An ethnographic approach: long interviews in workplaces, filming of the craft gesture itself, and collection of local trade vocabulary.
Every recording rests on written consent, revocable at any time, with a right of review before publication.

An open practical guide distilled from ten years of the Living Memory programme.
